Girly Owl Quilt

This little owl quilt would make a great addition to a baby or little girl's bedding and décor. Cuddle her up with it or hang it on the wall in her room for some cute girlish charm!

Pieced and quilted on my home sewing machine in a clean and smoke free environment. All new materials, all fabric- front and back- is 100% cotton, batting is 100% polyester. The binding was machine stitched to the front and hand stitched to the back. Quilted in a chevron zigzag pattern to match the owls belly. Backing fabric is an owl print that matches the front.

Prewashed. Machine washable, tumble dry low.

Eagle Quilt

I made this back in November for my son, who LOVES eagles.  I should have taken pictures earlier but it was one of those projects I was finishing up the night before his birthday and it has been on his bed ever since.  I should have ironed it before taking pictures but oh well...here it is!

 I found some eagle fabric panels and coordinating fabric and pieced it all together.  It is a twin size so I used a flat sheet for the backing and machine quilted it.  It was a lot of fun to make and even better to see his excited reaction when he got it!  He loves the movie "Nacho Libre" and we joke with him that when he sleeps under it he will get "eagle powers".- you know what I'm talking about if you've seen the movie :)
